Arsenal Beats Brighton 1-0 and Maintains Second Place in Premier League
Arsenal have secured their second place spot in the Premier League after beating Brighton 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Gunners started brightly, creating numerous chances for themselves before finally breaking through in the 26th minute. Bukayo Saka was involved in the build-up, playing a one-two with Emile Smith Rowe before firing past the visiting goalkeeper.
It was a well-deserved win for Arsenal, who have now won four out of their last five league games and remain in contention for a top-four finish this season.
Meanwhile, Brighton were unable to find the back of the net despite creating several opportunities of their own. The Seagulls will be disappointed not to score, but they can take heart from the fact that they have already booked their place in the Europa Conference League next season.
Overall, it was a solid performance from Arsenal against a strong opponent. They will now look to continue their good form as they face off against Everton later this week.
