PSG Seeks Haaland; Manchester City Also in the Running for Norway Forward
The world's most famous football club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), is reportedly seeking to sign Norwegian forward Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Haaland, who has scored 54 goals in just 82 games for Dortmund since joining the Bundesliga side in 2019, has been linked with a move to some of Europe's top clubs, including PSG, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
However, it seems that PSG is the team interested in signing Haaland first.
A report by The Athletic suggests that PSG is prepared to pay €176 million ($203 million) for Haaland, which would make him the most expensive player ever signed by the French giants.
If PSG does manage to secure Haaland, he will be a huge addition to their squad, as he is one of the best forwards in the world.
Haaland's ability to score goals at a high rate, combined with his technical skill and pace, makes him a formidable opponent for any defender.
In addition to Haaland, PSG is also reportedly interested in signing a new goalkeeper, with reports suggesting that they have made contact with Lille's Alphonse Areola.
Overall, it looks like PSG is set to be a busy summer, with the club looking to strengthen its squad ahead of the upcoming season.
